2-28-2006 Grade IV Bands: ANAPBA/ RSPBA 'MAP' Conference Call, March 25
Attention all Grade IV bands traveling to Scotland to compete this year:
ANAPBA/ RSPBA CONFERENCE CALL MARCH 25
In 2006 the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association is instituting a new qualifier system, called MAP (Musical Appreciation Program) for Grade IV and V bands at the five major RSPBA championships. In order to help bands prepare for competition in Scotland this year, ANAPBA (Alliance of North American Pipe Band Associations) is organizing a conference call with RSPBA. Each pipe band association in North America is invited to participate. WUSPBA is set up for one location in each branch.
The call is on Saturday, March 25. In WUSPBA, it will start at 10:00 AM Pacific time, 11:00 Mountain. It will last about 2.5 hours. Contact your Branch board for the location in your branch. If you are too far away to participate at that location, contact your branch board, or Jeff Mann at band-registrarwuspbaorg. (Note: you must retype that e-mail address.) ANAPBA is covering the cost of one call per branch per association; there will be a cost associated with adding additional lines (a number of people can be on one line if using a speakerphone). You must notify Jeff by March 11 if you wish to participate.
