Preferably black brogues, but regular black closed toe shoes are acceptable. No sport shoes. Brown brogues or shoes are also acceptable if they match the belt and sporne. Suede shoes are not acceptable. Shoes MUST be clean and polished.

The shinier the better.
Laces should match the shoes, black or brown, and be clean with no frays. Brogue long laces should be worn wrapped around the ankle at equal length, horizontally level on all sides of the ankle. Laces on both legs should be tied identically with twists and bow loops the same way. Lace twists on the back and front of the leg should be centered vertically.
